RCA separates public education from authenticated program tools and clinical systems so sensitive information is handled according to its purpose and authorized audience.
Three layers
Information is separated by use.
Authenticated platform
Applications, detailed donor profiles, favorites, protected messaging, partner submissions, and role-based program workflows.
Clinical systems
Medical records, testing, eligibility determinations, treatment instructions, consents, and authorized care documentation.
A page marked “private,” excluded from search, or blocked by robots.txt is not secured by that label alone. Sensitive content requires authentication, authorization, and appropriate operational controls.
Your role matters
Help protect your account and information.
Use your own account
Do not share passwords or reuse access intended for another family member, donor, agency, or staff role.
Verify sensitive requests
If a message requests medical records, payment, identification, or login details unexpectedly, contact RCA through a known channel.
Use secure upload and messaging
Do not send detailed medical or identity documents through ordinary email when a secure route is provided.
Report concerns promptly
Tell RCA if you suspect unauthorized access, receive a suspicious message, or need your access changed.
